About
Peggy Cook, MS, BCBA, LBA, is the Clinical Director at the Naperville center. She earned her Master of Science in Psychology from Capella University and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Licensed Behavior Analyst. Peggy has worked with children and families across school, home, and clinical settings, giving her a well-rounded perspective on how to support skills that are meaningful in a child’s everyday life.
Peggy’s clinical approach is rooted in play-based ABA, with a special focus on building social skills through natural, engaging, and meaningful interactions. She believes some of the best learning happens when children are having fun. Whether it’s learning to take turns during a favorite game, joining a peer in play, starting a conversation, or navigating the everyday ups and downs of friendships, Peggy enjoys helping children build the skills and confidence they need to connect with the people around them.
One of Peggy’s favorite parts of being a BCBA is celebrating the moments that may seem small but can make a big difference in a child’s life. She also loves partnering with families and supporting clinicians as they grow in their confidence, creativity, and ability to make therapy both effective and enjoyable.
Outside of work, Peggy has three children and three dogs. ABA has even become a family affair—both her daughter and one of her sons are Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). When she’s not at the center, Peggy enjoys gardening, putting together a great outfit (and shopping for one), having dinner with friends and family, and making time to travel whenever she can.
