About
Kristin Mahoney earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Southern Connecticut State University and her Master of Arts in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of North Texas. She also holds a Special Education Certification, completed through Southern Connecticut State University and Region 4 in Houston, Texas, and is both a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA).
As a BCBA at Gracent Pediatric Therapy's Missouri City (Riverstone) center, Kristin takes a collaborative, family-centered approach to care. She guides clients through assent-based practices and naturalistic teaching, meeting each child where they are.
For Kristin, the most rewarding parts of the job are guiding and supporting Behavior Technicians in their work with clients, walking alongside parents through parent training, and helping create supportive learning environments that meet each client's individual needs in the school setting.
Outside of work, Kristin loves spending time with her family, running, playing beach volleyball, dancing, and traveling.
