Background and approach

Haylie earned her Bachelor’s degree in Health Science with an emphasis in Rehabilitation from the University of Missouri–Columbia (Mizzou), followed by her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Clarkson University.

Haylie takes a strength-based approach to her practice, focusing on empowering each client to build on their unique abilities. She is passionate about supporting children and their families in achieving meaningful goals, promoting independence, and improving participation in daily activities.

Haylie has a strong interest in feeding therapy, sensory processing, mental health, executive functioning and primitive reflex integration, and is always eager to learn more about her specialty.

Our commitment to you and your child:

‍For our clients, treatment hours are determined on an individualized basis, without predefined blocks.
Our BCBAs weigh the priorities of the family, the availability of the child given other therapeutic services they may be receiving, and the level of support needed to facilitate the best outcomes.
All of our treatment plans have terminal goals that are reported every 6 months and discussed every 3 months directly with the family, to ensure we are always moving towards fading the level of support needed and increasing daily independence.
