Most children in Manvel are zoned to Alvin ISD, and in Texas developmental services pass from ECI to the school district at age 3. Our Missouri City center helps families through that handover, and can start ABA, speech or occupational therapy before it is settled.

ABA here is play-led and neuroaffirming - built on what your child already enjoys, with goals set by their strengths rather than a fixed hour count. Manvel families attend at our Missouri City center.

Our speech-language pathologists support children at every stage of communication, from first words to clearer speech, stronger understanding, and more confident expression.
We focus on skills that show up in real life — asking for help, joining conversations, expressing feelings, and being understood by peers and adults.
Therapy is playful, purposeful, and personalized, helping children feel heard and understood wherever they go.

From morning routines to playground adventures, our OTs help children build comfort, confidence, and coordination — so daily life feels easier for everyone.
Occupational therapy supports skills like dressing, eating, handwriting, emotional regulation, and sensory processing. We help children feel more comfortable in their bodies, more regulated in their emotions, and more confident navigating everyday tasks at home, school, and play.

Our therapists help kids understand emotions, build coping skills, and feel more confident navigating friendships, school, and daily life.
Through age-appropriate, evidence-informed therapy, children learn how to name feelings, manage anxiety, handle frustration, and build emotional resilience.
We support the whole child, helping them feel calmer, more confident, and more capable in the moments that matter most.
At Gracent, your child's ABA, speech, and occupational therapists don't work in silos — they work side by side, on one plan.
Identifies the patterns behind behavior and builds a plan to support communication, regulation, and learning.
Provides the words, gestures, or tools to express feelings, needs, and ideas.
Supports regulation, motor skills, and sensory needs so their body feels calm, capable, and ready to try again.
And one day, you'll see it: a smooth transition, the right words, or proudly doing something that once felt out of reach. That's not a single moment, it's the result of connected care, designed for your child.

Manvel families reach us at our Missouri City center. Therapy only works if you can get there three afternoons a week, every week, so we would rather talk the drive through up front than have it fall apart in month two.
For school-age children in Manvel, Alvin ISD is usually the district involved. We coordinate on IEP goals and evaluations so support carries between the center and the classroom.
We see families from the neighboring Pearland, Iowa Colony and Rosharon communities. The skills we work on are the ones that show up in those places - regulating in a busy room, joining in with other children, ordering for themselves on a Saturday outing. Therapy that travels off the mat and into their actual life.

In Texas, children under 3 start with ECI (Early Childhood Intervention), which is based on a developmental evaluation and is free or low-cost. At age 3, services transition to your school district - Alvin ISD for most of Manvel. You can also start privately at any time, and we will run a benefits check first so you know your coverage before day one.
From about 18 months up through the school years. Our youngest clients are toddlers, where starting early changes the most, and we continue with children and teens as their goals change.
We accept most major insurance plans and will run a benefits check with you before your child starts, so you have a clear picture of coverage and any out-of-pocket costs before day one.
We serve Manvel and the wider Brazoria County area, including the neighboring Pearland, Iowa Colony and Rosharon communities. Ask us on 281-374-1847 about your specific location — a drive that looks fine on a map is not always fine three afternoons a week.
Two things. Plans are shaped by your child's strengths and assent, not by a fixed hour count, and the disciplines actually coordinate, so progress in one shows up in the others.
That depends on your plan, which is why we check it first. We accept most major Texas plans, and our Missouri City team will walk you through coverage, co-pays and anything not covered before your child's first session.
One phone call to 281-374-1847 starts it. We run an insurance benefits check, book an assessment, and talk through what a realistic schedule looks like from Manvel before anything is committed.
Yes — early ABA is one of the things we do best. We welcome children as young as 18 months, and starting early helps skills carry into preschool, kindergarten, and everyday family life. Every plan is paced for a young child.
Often yes, in part. Texas plans typically require an autism diagnosis to fund ABA, but speech and occupational therapy do not carry the same requirement, so many Manvel families start there while the evaluation is in progress.
